Administration of Lithuanian-Swiss Cooperation Programme in Lithuania

On 19 November 2008 the Government of the Republic of Lithuania adopted the resolution No.1178 “On the Administration of Lithuanian-Swiss Cooperation Programme to Reduce Economic and Social Disparities within the Enlarged European Union in Lithuania”, by which the concrete line ministries were assigned as intermediate bodies responsible for preparation of programmes or block grant in the specific focus areas of the Lithuanian-Swiss Cooperation Programme:

The Government of the Republic of Lithuania has also authorized Ministry of Finance (the National Coordination Unit) to sign the Project Agreements with the Swiss Confederation and to prepare and approve the rules on the administration of the Lithuanian-Swiss Cooperation Programme in Lithuania. On 5th of December the rules on the administration of the Lithuanian-Swiss Cooperation Programme in Lithuania was approved by the Order of the Minister of Finance No. 1K-418. These rules define the functions and rights of administrative institutions, executing agencies, beneficiaries and Steering Committee of the Lithuanian-Swiss Cooperation Programme.
