The Steering Committee of the Lithuanian – Swiss Cooperation Programme (SC) is a deliberate body of the National Coordination Unit (NCU - Ministry of Finance) for the issues concerning monitoring, administration and implementation of this programme. The Committee consists of the representatives of the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Education and Science, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Association of Local Authorities in Lithuania, non-governmental sector and the Central Project Management Agency (CPMA).

The Steering Committee supervises the general process of the implementation of the Lithuanian – Swiss Cooperation Programme, approves the annual report prepared by the NCU and fulfills other functions and tasks as indicated in the Regulation of Work of the Steering Committee of the Lithuanian – Swiss Cooperation Programme.

The Steering Committee meetings

During 2009

  • The 1st SC meeting was held on18 February. During this meeting the Regulation of Work of the Steering Committee of the Lithuanian – Swiss Cooperation Programme was approved, NGO Fund project outlines prepared by the MoF was accepted and operational plan of the Lithuanian-Swiss Cooperation Programme for 2009 was approved.
  • The 2nd SC meeting was held on 29 April. During this meeting The Health sector programmes outlines "Rehabilitation and modernisation of basic infrastucture and improvement of the environment" and "Health" prepared by the Ministry of Health were accepted.
  • The 3rd SC meeting was held on 13 August. During this meeting "Research and Development" project outlines prepared by the Ministry of Education and Science was accepted and the decision on the Lithuania proposals on the use of the Unallocated reserve was taken.

During 2010

  • The 4th SC meeting was held on18 March. The Lithuanian-Swiss Cooperation Programme's Annual report for 2009 was approved.
  • The 5th SC meeting was held on 8 July. During this meeting: 1. a decision about the allocation of the remaining non-committed amounts of fund for the needs of both Health sector programmes and NGO block grant was taken; 2. the Final Project Proposal for "Research and Development" programme prepared by the Ministry of Education and Science and the Project Outline for "The Creation and Implementation of the System for Video Transmission, Recording and Storage in Courts" individual project prepared by the National Courts' Administration were approved for submission to Swiss authorities.
  • The 6th SC meeting was held on 25 November. During this meeting two Final Project Proposals "Improvement of Perinatal and Neonatal Health Care Services in Lithuania"and "Introduction of Energy Efficient Technologies into the Lithuanian Hospitals Providing Perinatal and Neonatal Health Care Services" prepared by the Ministry of Health and the Final Project Proposal of the individual project "The Creation and Implementation of the System for Video Transmission, Recording and Storage in Courts" prepared by the National Courts' Administration were approved for submission to Swiss authorities.

During 2011

  • The Lithuanian-Swiss Cooperation Programme's Annual Report for 2010 was approved by the SC during the written procedure on 31 March 2011.

During 2012

  • The Lithuanian-Swiss Cooperation Programme's Annual Report for 2011 was approved by the SC during the written procedure on 22 March 2012.

During 2013

  • The Lithuanian-Swiss Cooperation Programme's Annual Report for 2012 was approved by the SC during the written procedure on 25 March 2013.

During 2014

  • The Lithuanian-Swiss Cooperation Programme's Annual Report for 2013 was approved by the SC during the written procedure on 28 March 2014.

During 2015

  • The Lithuanian-Swiss Cooperation Programme's Annual Report for 2014 was approved by the SC during the written procedure on 23 March 2015.

During 2016

  • The Lithuanian-Swiss Cooperation Programme's Annual Report for 2015 was approved by the SC during the written procedure on 22 March 2016.
