Project Preparation Facility

The objective of the Project Preparation Facility (hereinafter referred to as the PPF) is to ensure the efficient preparation of Final Project Proposals by contributing to the costs incurred through their elaboration. The financing by the PPF will be used for the procurement of services for preparing studies, e.g. feasibility studies, environmental impact assessments, and/or any other documents deemed appropriate to complement the Final Project Proposal in order to allow a thorough appraisal of the project.

Switzerland shall provide a Grant of CHF 500’000 (five hundred thousand Swiss Francs), to the Republic of Lithuania for the PPF.

The financing by the PPF shall not exceed 85% of total eligible actual costs for the preparation of Final Project Proposal.  

Beneficiaries: intermediate bodies of the programmes and block grant.

Applications for the PPF by intermediate bodies should be submitted to the donors along with the project (programme or block grant) outline.

Technical Assistance Fund

The objective of the Technical Assistance Fund (hereinafter referred to as the TA Fund) is to ensure the efficient and effective implementation of the Lithuanian-Swiss Cooperation Programme by contributing to the costs incurred by the Republic of Lithuania as specified in the TA Fund Agreement.

Switzerland shall provide a Grant of CHF 1'080'000.00 (one million eighty thousand Swiss Francs), to the Republic of Lithuania, to be used exclusively to finance eligible costs of the TA Fund.

Beneficiaries: the Ministry of Finance and the Central Project Management Agency.
