2013 12 14

Vilnius, December 14. The credit rating agency Fitch affirmed the long-term credit rating of Lithuania BBB+ with a stable outlook yesterday.

"The credit rating agency's decision further strengthens the view of Lithuania as a financially responsible and disciplined country. Additional value was created by Lithuania’s will to adopt the euro in 2015", - said Lithuanian Finance Minister Rimantas Šadžius.

In April of 2013 Fitch Rating raised the long-term credit rating of Lithuania from BBB to BBB +.
