Curriculum Vitae

Ms. J. Butkevičienė has over 30 years of professional experience in communication, strategic management, public policy, international cooperation and law-making. She started her career as a political analyst, then for more than 15 years she headed one of the largest Lithuanian television news services (TV3), worked as a TV presenter and producer at LRT television. Later, she continued her professional activities in the civil service as an Advisor to the Minister of Agriculture and worked in the municipal and non-governmental sector, leading strategic development, international cooperation and communication activities.

During her professional career, Ms. J. Butkevičienė represented organisations at national and international level, participated in negotiations with state institutions, social partners and European Union organisations. She has received an education in journalism from Vilnius University.
