Data protection officer

In order to implement the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), the Ministry of Finance designated a data protection officer:

Individuals (data subjects) may contact the data protection officer with regard to all issues related to processing of their personal data in the Ministry of Finance and to the exercise of their rights under Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

Data processors of registers and state information systems managed by the Ministry of Finance and other undertakings or bodies falling within the sphere of governance of the Minister of Finance have their own appointed data protection officers whose contacts are published on the websites of these bodies.
