Processing of personal data in the Ministry of Finance
The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania processes personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), Republic of Lithuania Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data and other legal acts regulating the processing and protection of personal data.
The Ministry of Finance processes personal data on the grounds referred to in Article 6(1) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, special categories of personal data where at least one of the clauses referred to in Article 9(2) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 applies and personal data relating to criminal convictions and offences only when such a right of processing is directly authorised by law:
- Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation);
- Republic of Lithuania Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data;
- Description of the Procedure for the Processing of Personal Data and the Exercise of the Rights of the Data Subjects in the Ministry of Finance;
- Rules for Processing Image Data in the Ministry of Finance;
- Description of the Procedure for Investigating a Personal Data Breach in the Ministry of Finance.
