AHK and German Embassy business season opening
At the opening of the new German-Lithuanian business season, Finance Minister Taurimas Valys highlighted that Germany is not only one of Lithuania’s most important economic partners, but also a true ally when it comes to security.
German investment in Lithuania has already reached €5.8 billion – a strong vote of confidence in our country and its business community.
Our cooperation is also growing closer in the fields of finance, defence and industry. German banks are becoming more active in Lithuania, FinTech companies are discovering new opportunities here, and major joint projects are strengthening our defence industry, including the Rheinmetall ammunition plant in Baisogala.
Today, our partnership means working together to strengthen Lithuania’s and Europe’s security, economic resilience and shared values.
