Dr. Liutauras Gudžinskas to strengthen the team of the Minister of Finance
From today, Mr Liutauras Gudžinskas, a long-time Associate Professor at the Institute of International Relations and Political Science of Vilnius University (VU IIRPS) and a Doctor of Political Science, takes up his duties as an Adviser to the Minister of Finance.
L. Gudžinskas has a solid academic and practical experience. Since 2008, he has been teaching comparative politics, Nordic and Baltic studies at VU IIRPS, and has been focusing on the phenomenon of successful societies. The new Adviser to the Minister also has considerable experience in the executive branch: from 2004 to 2009, he worked in the Office of the Government, headed the EU Policy Analysis Unit, and coordinated the coordination of Lithuania's positions on EU Economic and Financial Affairs Council issues at the level of the Government.
L. Gudžinskas was President of the Lithuanian Political Science Association (2013-2017) and Secretary General of the Central European Political Science Association (2015-2018), as well as Editor-in-Chief of the Baltic Journal of Political Science (2013-2019).
