During visit to Japan, Vice-Minister of Finance will invite entrepreneurs to invest more actively in Lithuania

On 9-11 June, Vice-Minister of Finance Januš Kizenevič together with President of the Republic of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda and members of the Government will visit Japan, where he will meet Vice-Minister of Finance of Japan Azuma Kuniyoshi and participate in the Lithuanian-Japan Business Forum. 

“One of the strongest in the world, the Japanese market, has always encouraged the search for innovative forms of cooperation, so closer contacts with the Japanese government and direct communication with local businesses are the basis for more determined steps by our businesses in Japan and faster results of cooperation”, Vice-Minister of Finance Januš Kizenevič stated. 

J. Kizenevič will meet with Japan's Vice-Minister of Finance Azuma Kuniyoshi in Tokyo to discuss economic prospects, bilateral economic relations, support for Ukraine, and opportunities for cooperation in the financial sector, including Fintech and green finance development. 

During his visit to Japan, the Vice-Minister of Finance will also meet with Ogawa KAZUNORI, Senior Managing Director at Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC). 

The Vice-Minister will also participate in the panel discussion of the Lithuanian-Japan Business Forum on Lithuanian-Japan business cooperation in high value-added sectors. During the discussion, J. Kizenevič will invite Japanese business representatives to invest in Lithuania, to take advantage of the developed common capital market of the Baltic States.
