Vice-Minister of Finance Januš Kizenevič will visit London on 17-20 March to attend two high-level events dedicated to existing and future investors in the fields of banking, financial technology and insurance. During the visit, the Vice-Minister will also meet with representatives of various international companies.
Vice-Minister J. Kizenevič will give a welcome speech at the event “Lithuania – UK Fintech Bridge”, where he will present Lithuania to UK financial services companies as a place where they can expand and grow across the European Union market.
During the Insurtech Insights conference, the Vice-Minister will participate in a debate "Risk Transfer and Alternative Capital: Leveraging Innovation for Enhanced Market Stability”, which will discuss synergies between capital markets and the insurance sector.
“The Lithuanian insurance market maintains a stable growth trajectory, driven mainly by the growing demand for non-life insurance (especially casco and property) and the positive performance of companies. Insurance undertakings are profitable and financially stable, so we see attractive opportunities for new market players", the Vice-Minister states.
The meetings with market participants are intended to discuss the attractiveness of the Lithuanian Fintech and banking sector for foreign investors and the directions of development of the Lithuanian financial sector.
The Vice-Minister's agenda also includes a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania to the United Kingdom Asta Radikaitė.
