New Minister of Finance Rimantas Šadžius takes office

Following the approval of the new composition of the 19th Government, Rimantas Šadžius takes up the position of Minister of Finance.

The Minister has extensive management experience in the field of finance: from 2016 to 2022, he was a Member of the European Court of Auditors and Minister of Finance in the 14th and 16th Governments. 

The Minister graduated from Vilnius University, where he obtained a master’s degree in law.
