Vice-Minister joins the political team of the Ministry of Finance
As of 6 November, Vice-Minister Neringa Rinkevičiūtė-Laurinaitienė has started working in the political team of Minister of Finance Kristupas Vaitiekūnas, who will be responsible for the areas of European Union investment and reporting, audit, property valuation and insolvency policy.
Before joining the management team of the Ministry of Finance, N. Rinkevičiūtė-Laurinaitienė held various management positions in Alytus City Municipality Administration. Since October 2020, she has held the position of the Head of the Finance and Investment Division, before that as Deputy Director of the Municipality Administration.
In 2003-2006 and 2007-2018, N. Rinkevičiūtė-Laurinaitienė worked as the Head of the Investment Division and, in 2006-2007, of the Economy and Investment Department of the Municipality Administration.
From 2000 to 2003, N. Rinkevičiūtė-Laurinaitienė worked as the Chief Specialist at the Economy and Investment Division of Alytus District Municipality Administration. In 2000-2002, she was a lecturer of business management and personnel management.
Since March 2021, N. Rinkevičiūtė-Laurinaitienė has been a member of the Board of Alytaus šilumos tinklai UAB.
The new Vice-Minister holds a Bachelor's degree in Management and a Master's degree in Management from Kaunas University of Technology and a Master's degree in Law from Mykolas Romeris University.
