EU Investments 2004–2006

After becoming a full member of the EU from 1 May 2004, Lithuania gained a possibility to use the EU structural assistance under the Single Programming Document of Lithuania for 2004-2006 (SPD) and under the Cohesion Fund Strategy for 2004-2006. Total assistance granted for the implementation of the SPD and the Cohesion Fund projects for the aforementioned period amounts to LTL 5,942 million: LTL 3,090 million for the implementation of the SPD projects and LTL 2,852 million for the Cohesion Fund projects.
